Triumph 675

Another great bike to photograph. This was the bike before the Ducati and the rider had to ride 20 minutes away to get the bike. And that is why the shoot below is in the dark.

Ducati 848

A shoot which ran late but turned out good. Sometimes the plans change because of unforeseen circumstances and the thoughts of the whole shoot becoming a flop, hit. Well this was the case here where this shoot started 3 hours late and left me with a Ducati 848 in pitch blackness without power. I pulled out a couple tricks from underneath my sleeve and it left me with some great images that the editor loved.

Destructo Bunny Shoot

The very talented James Dean of Destructo Bunny, freestyling on the streets of O.B. We hoped to get an image for his new album.

Sexy Time

Another lighting test for an upcoming shoot. I am going to add another rim light on her left side and also center the main a little more.

Effectx

So in conclusion to the Surf Bum shoot I had to add an image with some stylization. For stock imagery you got to keep the images on the neutral level b/c stylization can be very specific for certain feels you or your client maybe conveying. So the first thing I wanted to do was accentuate Mario's body and also make him look as if he were as hard as chrome. You can view the post beneath to see the original light quality.

Lucky for me I have a very athletic and agile friend and he suggested I snap a couple of him doing one handed, hand stands. If you think the muscles are a little over board tell my buddy to lower his protein intake. It's all real!

Beach Bum

Well, I have the opportunity to photograph my friends doing the things they love. This is for stock. Getting ready to long board the waves at one of our beautiful north county beaches. Tough job but someone has got to do it.
